Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress, best known since 2011 for her role in the role of Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama show Awkward. Tarlov was the first of two daughters born in the home of her grandparents in Manhattan. As a 10-year-old she played the role of Mrs. Peterson as part of an Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was a hugely praised performance by a crowd comprised of seventh graders. Later in her career she was a student at NYU Tisch at Paris and at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College gave her training for various styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company, where she was a student and also helped her integrate writing and acting during The LAByrinth Theater's Master Course. Molly removed her winter coat and bought a pair black sunglasses on her trip for Los Angeles. The three words of iCarly immediately caught the attention at her family members. In the years since, she's been on TV in a variety of roles. She also created the character Caitlin on Winnie Holzman's ABC Family show Huge. Molly claims to be able to be a good basketball player despite the fact that she isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
